City Plans For July 1 Canada Day Celebration

The City of Powell River will be celebrating Canada Day on July 1 as has been planned all along.
Although an announcement has been made about a “CANADA 150 party” on June 14, the City of Powell River is not changing the date of its Canada Day celebration, said CaroleAnn Leishman, Powell River City Councillor with the Arts, Culture and Heritage portfolio and Powell River’s CANADA 150 representative.
